Alexandra McCallum has been a professional performance storyteller since 2003 and is also a writer, community arts facilitator, and theatremaker. She is currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing at Griffith University including a novel manuscript and an academic work on mythic atmosphere in fiction.

She has written a fascinating paper entitled ‘The Archetype and the Local: A productive tension in Oral Telling and Mythic Fiction.’
