Something new and exciting for this year’s conference – the opportunity for attendees to pitch their manuscript ideas to a publisher, City Owl Press https://cityowlpress.com/ (Thank you so much to Sharon Johnston for making this possible for us!)
Many people in our community are writers of speculative fiction which is the specialty of City Owl Press. Many of you have laboured hard over your creation with the dream of one day being published. This is your chance to spend 10 minutes with a publisher enthusing them about what you have created.
Please let us know which editor is dealing with your field of interest (this is very important, so nobody is wasting their time) and when you would like to see them for a 10 minutes one-to-one Zoom interview. These will be specific Zoom meetings, quite separate from the time we are having the conference sessions.
This opportunity is ONLY available to people who have booked to attend the AFTS conference “Magic Mirrors: The Seen and the Unseen” 5-8 June 2020.
